Jack Dee gave an interview to Heart Radio yesterday to promote the third series of Lead Balloon which started on BBC 2 on 13 November. Describing it as a show about a D list celebrity who is trying to stop himself being relegated from League 4. Jack joked that he is always asked if he is similar to the main character Rick Spleen and has to allow people to say he is!
In the interview Jack revealed a few snippets about himself including admitting that he is still occasionally referred to as the Midget with the Widget following his John Smith Adverts in the 1990s. He joked that wasn't happy as he wasn't being paid for it now!
Jack Dee also revealed that he has recently completed a program for Comic Relief that will be aired on the BBC in March 2009 and said that he would never do I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
Jack was also asked what was on his Christmas list and admitted that it was a chainsaw as he has lots of uncut wood sitting in his garden!
