Jack Dee has been included in the nation's top ten favourite comedians in a poll carried out for the bank Smile. The poll was won by Peter Kay, who was a clear favourite with an oustanding 63% of the public's vote. The full list of the nation's favourite comedians was as follows:

Following his recent suspension from the BBC there was further bad news for Jonathan Ross who placed second in the list of the nation's least favourite comedians. The winner in this category was Jo Brand which we must admit came as somewhat of a surprise. The list of the nation's least favourite comedians were:

The same poll also found Only Fools and Horses to be the nation's favourite comedy show followed by Fawlty Towers, Blackadder and Red Dwarf in that order. We have have no doubt that it will not be long before Lead Balloon is joining this distinguished list.
